After reaching the age of 75, I realized how much the world has profoundly changed during my lifetime. Here are some observations and reminiscences from my perspective. Some things have been lost, but much has been gained too. I'm not waxing nostalgic about the "good old days", which in reality weren't always that great. And I have fond memories of many things we have lost. We can't change the past, but we can learn from it and make for a better future.
